Boisset Wine Living compensation plan is unnecessarily confusing and difficult to understand.
Boisset Wine calculates the commission using Commissionable Volume (CV), not real dollars.
CV are percentages that Boisset Wine Living assigned to each product. Therefore, before calculating your order commissions, you must convert real dollars into the CV.
Let say you sold a bottle of wine for $75. If the CV rate is 75%, then the CV for this sale is 56. If your commission level is at 35%, then your commissions for this order is $19.6 (56CV x 35%). The actual commission for this order is approximately 26%, not 35%.
Boisset Wine Living using CV to inflate the commission rates, but it creates an unnecessary level of confusing in the compensation plan.
