I Don’t Want To Go To College

This first time that I told my parent, ‘I don’t want to go to college,’ the entire house was silent for about 5 seconds, then it erupted into loud screaming and yelling.

‘What are you going to do? Tell me how are you going to support yourself? What the F are you thinking?’ This went on for about 10 minutes. Then the entire house was silent again.

The second silent lasted longer. Finally, my dad asked me why I don’t want to go to college?

I explained to my parents that I had this Idea, and I wanted to take a few years off from school to start my own business.

My mom asked, ‘where do you get the money to launch this business?’ I told her, I had saved enough money from my Wendy’s job for this venture.

You don’t need a college degree to become a success in business, or to become a millionaire. Many college graduates struggle to survive. College debt has kept many of them from achieving financial success.

I am not telling you that education is bad. You’ll need to be educated to become successful in life. However, the place to learn the necessary skills and knowledge to achieve your dream doesn’t have to be from a college.

I don’t want to go to college because college is not for me. I want to start my own business, and I don’t need to go to college to start a business. All I need is a profitable business idea and the willingness to work hard I can build a successful business.

The other reason that I don’t want to go to college is because of the cost. Many college graduates, including my friends, own more than $100 thousand dollars after finishing school. This debt will set you back from achieving your dream. I rather invest $100,000.00 in my business, than pays for a college degree.

The decision not going to college right after high school was the best decision of my life. I traded 4 years of college to learn and build a successful business which allows me to support my family, live a wealthy life and went back to school for my law degree.

Many years ago, the road to wealth was going to college and get a high paying job to live a wealthy life.

Today is different. Going to college means you are in debt, unemployed, and struggle to survive.

Parents in the US should reconsider forcing their children to go to college. The investment is too expensive, but the return is low.

The decision to go to college should not be based on someone else son or daughter graduated from college. This is a long-term decision, and it should be evaluated according to individual interests.

I don’t want to go to college because I want to start my own business. If this is what you want to do, then don’t waste thousands of dollars on a college degree. It will not help you build a successful business.

The track to build a successful business requires a different type of training.

For example, if you want to start an online business, there are no college teaching people to do this. You either have to learn by yourself with the help of a mentor or learn from an online training program such as the Wealthy Affiliate University.

Having a college degree doesn’t guarantee that you will become a successful in life. This is the truth because many college graduates are broke.

People dreaming of becoming a surgeon or rocket scientist must go to college and beyond to achieve this dream.

But you don’t have to go to college right after high school either.

Many people didn’t decide to become lawyers, doctors, or a scientist until years after finishing high school. They went to work in various careers to discover their interests and passion before returning to college.

If you are unsure of what career choice you want to learn, then delay attending college is a smart option.

People dreaming of becoming a business owner don’t necessarily have to go to college. Successful business owners come from all levels of education.

If you know college is not for you, then you don’t have to go to college to be successful in life.

If you don’t want to go to college because you are lazy or don’t want to learn, then you will never become successful.

Yes, I didn’t go to college, but I still have to learn the process of building and running a business.

One thing I know for sure success requires training and learning. Where are you going to get the training is up to you.

I don’t want to go to college because I believe college is not the right place to learn about building an online business.
