Juice Plus+ Review – Is Juice Plus+ A Scam Or Legit

Welcome to my Juice Plus+ Review MLM Coffee Talk.

Visiting Juice Plus+ Research page, you will see lots of doctor, dietitian, and nutrition experts praising and admiring how Juice Plus products help with aging, overall health, and more.

These promotional claims make you wonder, “Is Juice Plus a scam?”

A research conducted by the University Of California, Berkeley stated that there is no clinical evidence that Juice Plus products offer health benefits.

If Juice Plus+ marketing claims are false and misleading, then what about its business opportunity?

The company claims that Juice Plus+ business model offers minimal risk and unlimited potential. It’s the perfect business for busy people.

This sound like a good home-based business to start.

But what does this “minimal risk” mean?

I am very skeptical when it comes to mlm opportunities. Most of them are hypes and lies.

Reading Juice Plus+ promotional claims, the word SCAM immediately comes into my mind.

What Is Juice Plus+?

Juice Plus+ is an mlm company that promotes and distributes dietary supplements of concentrated fruit and vegetable juice extracts fortified with added vitamins and nutrients.

The company was started in 1970 under the name National Safety Associates (NSA) selling fire detectors and air and water purifiers.

The company founder, Jay Martin, is still the CEO of the company based in Collierville, Tennessee.

NSA did not enter the mlm business until 1986.

In 1993 NSA had some legal trouble with the United States Attorney General’s office, accused of operating a pyramid scheme.

NSA first introduced Juice Plus+ in 1993 with two products, Orchard Blend and Garden Blend capsules.

Juice Plus products are produced by Natural Alternatives International, a nutritional supplement manufacturer based in San Marcos, California,

Juice Plus reported an annual sales revenue of $680 Million in 2018.

The company sells its products in more than 33 countries.

The company does not publish its income disclosure statement. This financial document provides important financial information regarding the profits and losses of operating a Juice Plus+ business.

How To Join Juice Plus+?

You can join Juice Plus+ by visiting the company website and fill out the distributor application.

A local Juice Plus distributor will contact you for a one-on-one meeting. This is a face-to-face- sale.

The distributor that you sign up with is your upline, the sponsor.

Before you can make money as a Juice Plus+ distributor, you must be Active and/or Qualified, which I’ll discuss more in the Juice Plus+ compensation section of this review.

How Much Does It Cost to Join Juice Plus+?

The registration cost to join Juice Plus+ is $50.

You must purchase $500 PVC (Purchase Volume Credit) within the first 30 days to start earning the commission.

Besides the joining fee, there are other expenses to operate a Juice Plus+ mlm business.

Your biggest monthly expense is the Active Expense, which Juice Plus+ refers to as PVC.

To achieve the Virtual Franchise status, you must acquire $2,000 of PVC within the first 60 days and $500 PVC every month after.

The $500 PVC monthly business expense is known as, “Pay and Play!” If you want to earn, you have to pay.

A distributor that fails to meet the monthly PVC is not allowed to participate in earning the commission.

This monthly Active Expense can destroy your chance of making a profit because if you cannot resell the products, it becomes business losses.

Other home-based businesses, such as Affiliate Marketing, you earn the commission on every sale, no personal purchase required.

Do you know why mlm has a personal purchase requirement?

Well, they need to sell products and to avoid being classified as a pyramid scheme under the FTC guideline. (Check our MLM vs Affiliate Marketing for the discussion on the FTC MLM Guideline.)

Juice Plus+ Compensation Plan

There is nothing special about the Juice Plus+ compensation plan.

You have two options to make money: sell Juice Plus+ products or recruiting others to join Juice Plus+.

I’ll provide you an overview of the Juice Plus+ compensation plan. To learn in detail, just download a copy.

Make Money Selling Juice Plus+ Products

Juice Plus+ Distributors earn a profit each time they sell products to a customer.

Distributors can purchase the product at a wholesale price to resell or sell products directly from their replicated Juice Plus+ website to earn profits.

Below is the profit chart.

Juice Plus review profits

This sounds simple to make money, right?

Well, I did a search online and found many Juice Plus Fruit & Vegetable Blend Capsules selling as low as $10 with free shipping.

The same item at Juice Plus+ website retails for $44.50/month with 4 months Autoship requirement.

Overprice is the reason why you can never sell mlm products on the market for a profit.

It will be a challenge for distributors to make money selling Juice Plus+ products.

Make Money Recruiting Others

The best position to achieve as a new distributor is Virtual Franchise.

As a Virtual Franchise, you received an additional 14% bonus commission on each purchase by your downline. This commission increases up to 22% as you move up the rank.

Depending on your leadership rank, Juice Plus+ offers a residual income of 5% up to 5 generations.

But to receive these recruiting bonuses and incomes, you must be a Qualified distributor.

A qualified distributor must meet both the total accumulated PVC and personal monthly PVC.

The lowest rank requires $6000 in total accumulated PVC and $500 in Personal PVC each month.

The highest rank requires $300,000 in total accumulated PVC and $500 in Personal PVC each month.

The profits, bonuses, and residual incomes are sound exciting. But, It’s not easy to earn with Juice Plus+.

This is the trick with mlm opportunities. You have multiple ways to earn. But, to receive the commission, you must be Qualified.

Qualification means you must purchase products and more products to receive incomes.

You might end up making no money because of the monthly qualification purchased far exceeded the commissions earned.

Under the Juice Plus+ compensation plan, earning the commission is one thing and receiving the commission is another.

Juice Plus+ creates this confusing compensation plan to hide the fact that you will not make money as a distributor.

When evaluating an mlm opportunity like Juice Plus+, you need to know the actual income received by the Distributors.

Distributors actual incomes will give you an idea of the business profit and loss.

Can You Make Money With Juice Plus+?

Juice Plus+ would say “Yes” referring to the compensation plan as the proof. But you know this is not true.

The compensation plan shows POTENTIAL EARNING, not the actual income received by distributors.

The Juice Plus+ Income Disclosure Statement (IDS) contains the ACTUAL INCOMES received by distributors from Juice Plus+.

Most mlm companies, including Juice Plus+, do not publish the IDS.

Why?

Because Juice Plus+ doesn’t want us to know the truth. Distributors actual incomes might be very bad.

It’s not unusual for more than 99% of Juice Plus distributors to make no income.

READERS ALSO LIKE  Your Income Space Review, Scam Or Legit?

You can request a copy of the IDS from Juice Plus+ at the time of enrollment. Juice Plus+ is required by laws to provide you a copy together with the compensation plan.

With the IDS, you will see your chance of making money with this business opportunity is likely less than 1%.

As a business review writer, I look to the actual business incomes to advise clients on an investment. Potential earnings are just a guess.

Don’t be surprised if the majority of Juice Plus+ distributors make no money.

Never join Juice Plus+ until you see the income disclosure statement (IDS).

If they refuse to provide you a copy, this is a sign of a potential scam.

Is Juice Plus+ A Scam?

It might be difficult to make money with Juice Plus+.

But this doesn’t make Juice Plus+ a scam.

Juice Plus+ mlm is a business opportunity.

There is always the risk of losing all your investment when joining Juice Plus+.

Every business has risks. You need to carefully research and study the opportunity before joining.

Reading this Juice Plus+ Review is a good way to learn the risks and rewards related to this home business.

Many entrepreneurs hire a professional business analyst to evaluate every business opportunity to discover a profitable investment.

As a Business Review Writer, I evaluate mlm opportunities to help investors identified and managed risks.

Managed risk is all we can do.

Juice Plus+ is not a scam. It’s a competitive and unprofitable business opportunity.

Is Juice Plus+ a pyramid scheme?

All mlms consider themselves as a legit company, not a pyramid scheme.

Sorry, I don’t agree with this.

Why do I think Juice Plus+ is a pyramid scheme?

Based on their compensation plan.

Distributors are forced to purchase overprice products to earn the commission.

You cannot sell these overpriced products on the market.

The only way to make money is by recruiting others to join Juice Plus+.

Once you join, you are forced to purchase a minimum of $500 PVC each month to remain as a qualified distributor.

This is how mlms make money. The distributors are the company primary customers.

The more people join your team, the more money you make.

Recruiting is the way to get promoted and make money with Juice Plus+.

Doesn’t this make Juice Plus+ a pyramid scheme?

I know, not everyone will agree with me. But based this Juice Plus+ Review, you must agree that it is not easy to achieve financial success with Juice Plus+.

This business opportunity is not profitable.

Is Juice Plus+ Worth It?

I hope this Juice Plus+ review provides enough information for you to answer this question.
