Javita Review and Analysis:
There are other lucrative and inexpensive home-based business opportunities for you to compare and consider:
1 – My #1 Home Business Opportunity, or
2 – Affiliate Marketing.
Both do not require face-to-face recruiting and/or a monthly sales quota.
What Is Javita?
Javita is an mlm company that manufactures and distributes weight loss coffees known as Javita Burn + Control. This is a special coffee blended with Yerba Mate and Garcinia Cambogia to boost your metabolism while suppresses appetite.
Javita was launched in 2011 by Stan Cherelstein as a spin-off from another health and wellness mlm company called “Waiora”.
However, Javita US was not opened until 2002 with headquarters in Walnut, California.
Javita distributes and sells its weight loss coffee through an mlm network with headquarters in Boa Raton, Florida.
The company estimated sales revenue is $20 million, which considers a small mlm company.
Javita doesn’t publish the income disclosure statement (IDS). This financial document provides important financial information regarding the profits and losses of operating a Javita mlm business.
From my experiences, an mlm company that doesn’t release the income disclosure statement is a Red Flag. Maybe, Javita is hiding the fact that affiliates are not making money joining the dollar coffee club.
You must carefully consider and compare Javita business with other home-based business opportunities before investing.
You can use The Best MLM Opportunity to make a comparison.
How To Join Javita?
You need a referral to join Javita. It is fairly easy to search for a Javita affiliate online and registered through that website. Your referral is your upline.
All new affiliates are required to purchase a Starter Kit at the time of enrollment.
However, purchasing this starter kit is not enough. If you want to build a business and earn commissions with Javita, you must become active and qualified.
Active and qualified require affiliates to meet the sales quota, which I’ll discuss in the next section of this Javita review.
How Much Does It Cost To Join Javita?
The cost to join Javita is $99, $499 or $999 depending on the starter kit that you purchased.
You can also build your own starter pack with the starting price of $99.
Each starter kit comes with products, marketing materials, your own replicated Javita website, and the back office suite to help you run and build your dollar coffee club.
Besides the initial investments, there are expenses to stay in business.
Javita requires affiliates to maintain an active and qualified status.
To remain active, all affiliates are required to order at least two boxes of coffees each month, approximately $50 monthly spending.
To qualify for the best commission, affiliates must order at least 4 boxes of coffee each month, about $100 business expense.
As you can see, the cost to join Javita is more than the starter kit. You must purchase more products to maintain an active and qualified status.
You should pay attention to the monthly Active and Qualified Expenses.
Javita is a Pay and Play business opportunity. If you want to earn, you have to pay.
Any affiliate that fails to maintain an active and qualified status is not allowed to receive the bonuses and commissions from Javita.
The expenses above do not include your time, the marketing costs, travel expenses, and gas.
Excessive purchasing of products to meet the active and qualified requirements can destroy your business profit if you are unable to resell them. They become business losses.
Other home-based businesses, such as Affiliate Marketing, you earn the commission on every sale, no need to be active and qualified.
Why Javita requires affiliates to be active and qualified requirements?
Because they need to sell products and to avoid being classified as a pyramid scheme under the FTC guideline. (Check our discussion on the FTC MLM Guideline for more information.)
Javita Compensation Plan
Javita calls its compensation plan as an “Income Opportunity” plan.
Well, the compensation plan is not an income document. It’s just an outline of the options for affiliates to make money with Javita.
I’ll provide a quick analysis of the Javita compensation plan. To see it in detail, just download a copy.
Javita claims there are four ways for affiliates to make money.
But this is an mlm opportunity, so we know there are only two ways to earn: sell Products and/or build a team.
Make Money Selling Javita Coffee
Javita affiliates can earn 15% to 30% commission when customers purchase directly from the replicated Javita website.
But the question is, can you sell Javita coffees on the market?
The cheapest affiliate price for a Javita coffee control + burn is $25 with a $30 suggested retail.
I visited eBay, the famous mlm product dumping marketplace, and I found a lot of Javita coffee selling below affiliate prices.
This tells us many dollar coffee club affiliates are dumping Javita coffees on eBay to recover their investment because they are unable to sell them at the suggested retail price.
Overprice is the reason why you cannot make money selling Javita products.
Make Money Recruiting Affiliates
It looks like the best option to make money with Javita is recruiting others.
As long as you are active and qualified, here are your option to earn.
You earn a $40 referral bonus every time someone joins and purchases a starter kit.
Product Box Bonuses
A $0.50 or $1 product box bonus is earned when your downlines purchase a box of coffee up to 6 levels.
To earn this bonus, you must be a qualified affiliate.
Affiliates with a 4 boxes monthly subscription are qualified for $1 bonus, while affiliates with a monthly subscription of fewer than 4 boxes earn $0.50.
There are other bonuses and commissions which require more purchasing of Javita overpriced coffees to qualify. You can refer to the compensation plan for more information.
As you can see, there are multiple ways to earn with Javita. But to get paid, you must purchase more products to qualify.
This is how mlm works. Ways to earn is not the same as qualifying to receive the money.
You can potentially earn nothing with Javita because the costs to stay active and qualified might exceed the commissions received.
Can You Make Money With Javita?
Look, the compensation plan is not an income document.
To know the affiliate income, you need to look at the income disclosure statement (IDS). This financial document provides ACTUAL INCOMES that affiliates received from Javita.
But, where can you get a copy of the IDS?
You can request a copy at the time of enrollment. The law requires Javita to provide you a copy together with the compensation plan.
As a business review writer, I look to the actual incomes to evaluate an investment.
If Javita refuses to provide you a copy of the income disclosure statement, don’t join. This is a scam.
But you don’t need a copy of the IDS to know that 99% of mlm businesses failed.
Because mlm compensation plans are not designed for affiliates to make money. They are designed for the mlm company to sell products.
Just go back and look at the compensation plan discussion above, why you think affiliates are required to qualify for the commissions?
Is Javita A Scam?
Javita was launched to sell coffees. But this doesn’t make Javita a scam.
Javita is a business opportunity. Every business has risks.
You are responsible to carefully research, study, and investigate the Javita business opportunity before investing.
Reading this Javita Review is a good way to learn the risks and rewards associated with this business opportunity.
Many entrepreneurs hire professional financial analysts to evaluate a business profit and loss before investing.
As the owner of an Online Business Review, I have evaluated hundreds of mlm businesses to help investors discover the right home business opportunity.
As a business opportunity, Javita is not a scam. It is a risky and unprofitable investment.
Is Javita A Pyramid Scheme?
Mlm companies are legit if they follow the FTC guideline.
Javita might be legit under the law, but I don’t invest based on the laws.
I look at the compensation plan and affiliates’ income to determine if an mlm a pyramid scheme.
If you look at the Javita compensation plan, affiliates are forced to purchase overpriced products to earn the commission.
Recruiting is the only viable option to make money, not selling products.
The more people that you recruit, the more money you make.
Affiliates are the primary customers of Javita, purchasing coffees to stay in business.
Doesn’t this make Javita a pyramid scheme?
Well, you don’t have to agree with me. But you can’t deny that Javita is not designed for you to achieve your dream of financial freedom.
It is not easy for affiliates to make money with Javita, because the compensation plan was designed to turn affiliates into customers, not business owners.
Is Javita Worth It?
If you drink Javita coffee, then joining Javita might be worth it.
If you are looking for a profitable business opportunity to make money from home, then becoming a Javita affiliate might not worth it.
However, the decision to join Javita affiliate is yours to make.
Can I ask you this?
Do you know why you want to start a business?
To make money, right?
And to make money, we invest in a PROFITABLE business!
There are much better and less risky home-based business opportunities compared to mlm opportunities.
I recommend you look at Affiliate Marketing.
As an affiliate marketer, there’s
- No need to purchase a starter kit,
- No Personal Volume (PV) requirement,
- No face-to-face sales,
- No recruiting, and
- The best part, you are working on the computer in your own home or anywhere you like.
Affiliate marketing is one of the most powerful methods to promote and build your mlm team. I recommend you read, The New MLM Affiliate Marketing to learn more.
One thing that Javita rarely discloses to affiliates is “Business Control”.
As a Javita affiliate, you must obey Javita rules and policies to stay in business.
You have no control over what to sell or how to promote your business.
What happens if Javita goes out of business?
You are out of business!
You lose everything and nothing you can do about it. You have zero control over the business.
You start a business to build long-term incomes.
You want to create a system that generates money far into the future. Isn’t this the #1 reason you want to build a successful business?
If you want to be an owner of a lucrative and profitable business that generates six-figure passive income, then…
You should read my #1 recommended online business opportunity.
Can you write?
If your answer is “YES”, then why not use this skill to start your own highly lucrative online writing business, TODAY!
Listen, I start a business to make money, not to get a discount on buying coffee.
I will not invest with mlm companies, because they are not designed for you to make money.
Mlm companies were established to sell products, such as Javita was launched to sell coffee.
I don’t think you are going to get rich with Javita.
This is not a good opportunity.
There are much better home-based business opportunities compared to Javita.
But the final investment decision is yours to make.
I hope this review answers your questions, is Javita a scam or legit?
Until next time.
