How to Join Jeunesse?

You can join Jeunesse, as a Preferred Customer or a Distributor.

This Jeunesse review will focus on the process of becoming a Jeunesse distributor because it’s the #1 reason people joined Jeunesse.

You need a sponsor to join Jeunesse as a distributor. Your sponsor is your upline.

You can visit the Jeunesse website or have your sponsor submit an enrollment form to the company.

The joining process requires the purchase of a Starter Kit.

New distributors that want to be Active on day one, they must purchase a Product Packages.

Stay active and qualified allow Jeunesse distributors to earn the bonuses and recruiting commissions.

I’ll discuss in detail the importance of reaming as an active distributor in the compensation section of this Jeunesse review.

How Much Does It Cost to Join Jeunesse?

The costs to join Jeunesse are $29.95 and $49.95 depending on the Starter Kit that you have selected.

Jeunesse scam starter kit

If you want to be active and the $19.95 annual renewal fee waived, you must purchase a Product Package with a minimum of 360 CV.

Jeunesse review product package

Only the Ambassador Packages meet the 360 Commissionable Volume (CV) requirement.

Now, your lowest cost to join Jeunesse is $1,029.90, ($29.95+ $999.95).

Besides the fee to join, there are business expenses to operate a Jeunesse mlm business.

Business expenses, including business supplies, marketing, traveling, and the monthly Active Expense.

All Jeunesse distributors are required to generate a Personal Volume (PV) of 60 CV to stay active and earn the commission.

The 60 CV is approximately $89.98 of products ordered each month.

This active expense is known as, “Pay and Play!” If you want to receive the commission from Jeunesse, you have to pay.

You should be concerned with the monthly Active Expense. This expense can easily destroy your chance of making a profit because if you cannot resell the products, it becomes a business loss.

Home-based businesses, such as Affiliate Marketing, never require personal purchases to earn the commission.

Do you know why most mlms have this personal purchase requirement?

Well, to sell products and to avoid being classified as a pyramid scheme under the FTC guideline. (Check our MLM vs Affiliate Marketing for the discussion on the FTC MLM Guideline.)

Jeunesse Global Compensation Plan

Jeunesse calls their compensation plan as a “Financial Reward Plan”.

Upon further investigation, I discover this is not a financial reward. It’s a Binary mlm compensation.

Binary compensation is considered one of the most difficult to make money in the mlm business.

Why?

Because binary means you must build two teams, the right and the left, to earn commissions.

I’ll provide you an overview of the Jeunesse Global compensation plan. To see it in detail, just download a copy.

Before we start, I need to explain the way Jeunesse calculates bonuses and commissions. They use the Commissionable Volume (CV).

The CV is points assigned to each product by Jeunesse. Below is an example.

Jeunesse pyramid CV

Let say that you sold a Basic Skincare Package for $199.95 with 100 CV.

If the commission on this sale is 20%, you will earn $20 (100CV x 20%), not $39.99.

This means, on a $199.95 order, the actual commission is only 10%. I hope you can see this Jeunesse scam.

Now, we can start looking at how you make money with the Jeunesse compensation plan.

There are two ways to earn with every mlm: sell products and/or recruiting others to join.

Make Money Selling Jeunesse Products

Jeunesse distributors can purchase the products at wholesale price to resell, or they can sell directly from their own Jeunesse replicated website to earn between 15–40% retail profit.

retail profit scam

Isn’t that simple?

Well, no really!

I did a search online and found a Jeunesse AM & PM Essentials selling for $44.99 with free shipping.

The AM & PM Essentials on Jeunesse website retailed for $139.95 and the wholesale price of $89.95.

Jeunesse products review

Overprice is the reason why you can never earn a retail profit selling mlm product on the market.

It will be a challenge to sell Jeunesse products.

Make Money Recruiting Others

New Associate must advance to Distributor rank to earn the commission from recruiting.

Distributor rank is achieved by placing a 100 CV order, about $219.95.

Once you become a Distributor, you are qualified to earn the following bonuses and commissions from the downline.

A Team Commission of $35 is earned every time one of your Teams (the left or right) reaches 600 GV and the other reaches 300 GV.

The Matching Bonus pays between 5% to 20% of Team Commissions from levels 1 – 7 of your based on your rank.

The Customer Acquisition Incentive is earned every time you recruit 5 people to join Jeunesse, 5% for 5 recruits, 10% for 10 recruits. The more people you recruit, the more you earn.

Jeunesse offers leadership reward which I am not going to discuss in this review. You can refer to the compensation plan for more information.

Yes, there are multiple options to earn commissions and bonuses with Jeunesse. But to receive them, you must be Qualified.

Qualification means you are either purchasing more products or recruiting more people to join.

With the Jeunesse compensation plan, earning mean one thing and receiving the money is another.

Therefore, to evaluate Jeunesse business opportunity, we cannot rely on the compensation plan.

You must look at the actual incomes received by distributors to determine the business profit and loss.

Can You Make Money With Jeunesse?

Never look at the Jeunesse compensation plan and thinks you can make a lot of money.

This is what I mean:

The Jeunesse compensation plan offers POTENTIAL EARNINGS, not the actual income received by distributors.

The Jeunesse income disclosure statement (IDS) is the document that contains ACTUAL INCOMES.

Where can you get a copy of Jeunesse IDS?

You can request a copy at the time enrolling. The laws require Jeunesse to provide a copy to every recruit.

If Jeunesse refuses to provide you a copy, this is a sign of a potential scam.

But not to worry, I have a copy of the Jeunesse IDS. You should download one to continue with our Jeunesse review discussion.

As a business review writer, I look to the actual business incomes to advise clients on an investment. Potential earnings are just a guess.

With the IDS, you can evaluate your chance of making money with Jeunesse.

Incomes Received By Jeunesse Distributors

Jeunesse reported 9,139 US Distributors in 2018. But, 19.4% did not earn any commissions.

I hope you are not too excited and concluded 80.6% of Jeunesse distributors made money in 2018.

If you really read this Jeunesse review, you should know the difference between earning the commission and making money with Jeunesse.

Let’s find out how many distributors actually make money.

The IDS reported, “59.96% (about 4,475) earned more than $245 — and the rest made less.”

The statement above tells us over 40% of distributors earned less than $245 in 2018.

Now, if you deduct the cost of joining Jeunesse and the monthly active expenses, those that made $245 or less in 2018 did not make money with Jeunesse.

Next, Jeunesse reported “13.14 % (about 1,035) earned more than $4,350.” This is the same as saying 86.86% make less than $4,350.

Do you see the trick Jeunesse used to report distributors income?

The $4,350 is gross commissions. If you deduct taxes and business expenses, you have 86.86% of Jeunesse distributors earned no income in 2018.

I don’t think we need to spend any more time analyzing this IDS. It’s clear to us that you must be in the top 2% to make a decent living promoting Jeunesse.

According to Jeunesse, it took distributors an average of 6 years to achieve the top 1% earners.

So, I can tell you that you will not make money with Jeunesse.

Why I am so confident?

Because over 86% of distributors earned no income last year.

Is Jeunesse A Scam?

Yes, it might take you six years to build a successful business with Jeunesse, but you cannot say Jeunesse is a scam.

Jeunesse is a business opportunity. Every business has risks.

Jeunesse is a high-risk opportunity with a low rate of success.

When you join Jeunesse, you must accept the 86% failure rate.

You should carefully research the opportunity before joining.

Reading this Jeunesse Review is a good way to learn the risks and rewards associated with Jeunesse.

As a Business Review Writer, I have evaluated hundreds of mlm businesses to investors to understand the risks and rewards of each mlm opportunity.

As a business owner, your responsibility is managed and controlled the risks to make money.

As a business opportunity, Jeunesse is not a scam. It’s a very risky business with a high rate of failure.

Is Jeunesse a pyramid scheme?

Jeunesse is a legit mlm company under the law. But I don’t use the laws to evaluate an investment.

I have a different guideline to determine if a Jeunesse is a pyramid scheme, and I don’t like what I see.

Why do I think Jeunesse is a pyramid scheme?

Based on the compensation plan and IDS.

Jeunesse Distributors are forced to purchase overpriced products every month to remain active and earn the commission.

The way to sell Jeunesse products is by recruiting others to join. The more people that you can recruit, the more money you make.

Here is my problem with mlm companies, the distributors are also the primary customers.

Recruiting is the way to get promoted and make money with Jeunesse.

According to Jeunesse IDS, over 86% of distributors earned little or nothing.

Doesn’t this make Jeunesse a pyramid scheme?

I know, you might not agree with me.

But, based on our Jeunesse Review, you must accept that only a small group at the top of the Jeunesse pyramid made money.

Is Jeunesse Worth It?

This Jeunesse review should provide you enough information to make this business decision.

For me, a business opportunity with over 86% failure rate is not a good investment. Don’t waste your time and money with it.
