  • MojiLife is a company that specializes in manufacturing and distributing the electric home fragrance known as AirMoji. The company has also expanded into the home decor, essential oils, and house cleaning market.
  • MojiLife allows you to make money with the company by becoming an independent distributor.
  • However, the concern is about the MojiLife income disclosure statement (IDS). We are unable to locate one from this company. It seems to indicate that distributors are not making money promoting MojiLife. This should be a strong reason to not invest with MojiLife.

What Is MojiLife?

MojiLife is a high-tech fragrance company that invented the AirMoji. The home air freshener comes with 50+ hours of battery life, and you can control it with your smartphone. The company has expanded into other markets such as home decors, essential oils, and house cleaning supplies.

MojiLife exclusively distributes the AirMoji through an mlm network of over 10,000 independent distributors operating in the US, Canada, Australia, and Japan.

MojiLife was launched in October 2016. The company was founded by Darin, Glenn, and Hari after a devastating warehouse fire destroyed all their life savings and investments.

At the time of writing this review, MojiLife is a startup mlm company with less than 5 years in business and an estimated sales revenue is $92.1 Million.

As a young mlm company, we don’t have the income disclosure statement (IDS) for MojiLife. This financial document provides important financial information regarding the profits and losses of operating a MojiLife mlm business.

You must carefully evaluate and compare MojiLife with other home-based business opportunities before joining.

You can use My #1 Business Opportunity to make a comparison.

Become A MojiLife Distributor

To become a MojiLife distributor, you must have a sponsor to introduce you to the opportunity.

You can search for MojiLife distributor online, then registered through that website, or you contact the company to locate a distributor near you.

To build a business and make money with MojiLife, you are required to purchase a distributor kit, remain active, and qualified for commissions. I’ll discuss all of them in the next sections of this MojiLife review.

The Cost To Become A MojiLife Distributor

The cost to join MojiLife depends on the distributor kit that you purchased. MojiLife offers three distributor kits. Their costs are $88, $175, or $295.

MojiLife review distributor kits

The distributor kits contain products and marketing materials for you to launch and promote your MojiLife mlm business.

Besides the cost of the distributor kit, you must maintain an active and qualified status to make money with MojiLife.

MojiLife requires all distributors to submit at least $20 PV (Personal Volume) each month to remain active. This is approximately $26.60. (1 PV is about $1.33).

Distributors must also submit a 70 PV ($93.10) per month to qualify for team commissions.

There are other qualifications required for bonuses and incentives, which I’ll discuss in the compensation plan section of this MojiLife review.

As you can see, the cost to join MojiLife is more than a distributor kit. You must purchase products every month to stay active and qualified.

MojiLife is a Pay and Play business opportunity. If you want to earn, you have to pay.

Any distributor who fails to maintain an active and qualified status is not allowed to receive the bonuses and commissions.

The expenses above do not include your time, the marketing costs, travel expenses, and gas.

Purchasing MojiLife products to maintain the monthly active and qualified status can destroy your business profits if you cannot resell them. They become business losses.

Other home-based businesses, such as Affiliate Marketing, you earn the commission on every sale, no need to be active and qualified.

To understand why mlm opportunity, such as MojiLife, requires distributors to stay active and qualified, you should read our discussion on the FTC MLM Guideline for more information.

MojiLife Compensation Plan

The MojiLife compensation plan looks simple, but it’s not easy for you to make money.

I’ll provide a brief explanation of the MojiLife compensation plan below. To see the full version, just download a copy to read later.

MojiLife offers you two options to make money: selling products and/or recruiting others.

Make Money Selling AirMoji

You earn retail commissions by purchasing products to resell or by selling directly from your own MojiLife replicated website.

You start with a based commission of 20%. This commission increases to 25% when you have to meet the Personal Retail Volume of $850 PRV.

It sounds easy, right? But, can you sell AirMoji on the market?

I did a quick search on eBay, the famous site for dumping mlm products. I found AirMoji with a starting price of less than $45.

The AirMoji suggested retail price is $49.95. This price is competitive with the market price.

Make Money Recruiting Others To Join MojiLife

You must be a qualified distributor at the Moji Consultant rank to earn downline commissions.

You must meet the following requirements:

  • Submit a one time 300 PRV ($399) order,
  • Generate 1000 Group Wholesale Volume ($1,330 GWV) each month, and
  • Recruit at least 1 active distributor.

Once you have met the requirements above, you can start earning a 3% downline commission.

MojiLife offers downline commissions from 3% to 10% up to the 9th levels. However, you must meet each rank level requirement to receive the commission.

There are other leadership bonuses and incentives which require more purchasing of MojiLife products to qualify. You should refer to the compensation plan for more information.

As you can see, there are multiple ways to earn with MojiLife mlm. But to get paid, you must maintain an active and qualified status.

This is how mlm works. Ways to earn is not the same as qualifying to receive the commissions.

You can potentially earn nothing with MojiLife mlm because the costs to maintain an active and qualified status might exceed the commissions received.

Can You Make Money With MojiLife MLM?

You will need the MojiLife income disclosure statement (IDS) to determine whether you can make money with MojiLife mlm, not the compensation.

The IDS is a financial document that reports distributors’ income for the prior year.

Startup and mlm companies with high distributor failure rates or low earnings rarely publish the income disclosure statement. This might be the case with MojiLife mlm.

So, how do you get a copy of the IDS?

You can request one at the time of enrollment. The law requires MojiLife to provide you a copy together with the compensation plan.

As a business review writer, I look to the actual incomes to evaluate a business opportunity.

If MojiLife refuses to provide you a copy of the income disclosure statement, don’t join. This is a bad sign. It’s a scam.

But you don’t need a copy of the IDS to know that 99% of mlm businesses failed.

Why?

Because the MojiLife compensation plan is not designed for you to make money. It’s designed to sell AirMoji.

Just go back and review the compensation plan discussion above, why you think distributors must maintain an active and qualified status to earn commissions?

Is MojiLife A Scam?

MojiLife was launched with the primary purpose to promote and sell the AirMoji, not for you to make money. But this doesn’t make MojiLife a scam.

MojiLife is a business opportunity. Every business has risks.

You are responsible to carefully research, study, and investigate the MojiLife business opportunity before investing.

Reading this MojiLife Review is a good way to learn the risks and rewards associated with this home-based business opportunity.

As the owner of an Online Business Review, I have evaluated hundreds of mlm businesses to help investors identified and discover the right opportunity to invest.

As a business opportunity, MojiLife is not a scam. It is a risky and unprofitable opportunity.

Is MojiLife MLM A Pyramid Scheme?

MojiLife is a legit mlm company if they follow the FTC guideline.

But who invest in a business opportunity just because the company follows the laws?

You need to look at the company’s compensation plan and distributors’ income when evaluating an investment.

If you look at the MojiLife compensation plan, distributors are forced to purchase products to earn commissions.

Recruiting is the best way to make money. The more people you recruit, the more money you make. This is how a pyramid is built.

Distributors are customers of MojiLife, purchasing products to stay active and qualified.

MojiLife doesn’t look like an mlm. It’s more like a pyramid scheme.

Well, you don’t have to agree with me.

But you can’t deny that the compensation plan was designed to turn you into a customer, not a business owner.

Is MojiLife MLM Worth It?

MojiLife might be worth it if you a regular user of AirMoji.

As a home-based business opportunity, I don’t think MojiLife worth it.

It is unlikely that you will achieve your financial dream with this opportunity because it’s not easy to make money under the MojiLife compensation plan.

However, the decision to join MojiLife mlm is yours to make.

Let me ask you this,

MojiLife mlm was launched to recruit and turn people into customers, not business owners.

If you are a good recruiter who only cares about forcing downlines to purchase products to meet the business requirements, then you will make a lot of money with MojiLife.

For those thinking of joining MojiLife to distribute and sell the air fresheners, I don’t think you are going to make money with MojiLife mlm.

There are much better home-based business opportunities compared to MojiLife mlm.

But this is your decision.

I hope this MojiLife review answers your question, is MojiLife mlm a scam or legit?

Until next time.
