The company was launched in 2001 under the name, Lexxus International mlm offered one product, Viacreme, which is a topical treatment to assist women in achieving sexual fulfillment.
In 2005, the company incorporated Natural Health Trends Corp as the holding company of Lexxus International.
Natural Health Trends Corp became a publicly-traded mlm company on the NASDAQ stock exchanges under the symbol (BHIP).
On June 12, 2006, the company changed “Lexxus International” to “NHT Global” to reflect the connection with the holding company, Natural Health Trends Corp.,
But I believe that these name changes were to keep NHT Global mlm private, avoiding the strict financial disclosure requirements for a publicly-traded company.
NHT develops, manufactures, and sells personal care, health & wellness, and nutritional supplements through a network of 97,840 independent distributors in 45 countries.
The company sales revenue reached $192 million in 2018.
However, most NHT Global distributors earned an annual average income of $1,000.
NHT Global is a highly competitive business with low success rate.

You need a sponsor to join NHT Global.
You must search online for an NHT Global distributor because you cannot join thought the company’s website.

The Costs To Join Natural Health Trends Corp

Besides purchasing an enrollment package, there are expenses related to operating your NHT Global business.
NHT Global charges a monthly Active Expense which it calls, ongoing minimum maintenance requirements.
Every NHT Global distributor is required to maintain a minimum of 70 BV (Bonus Volume) by purchasing products equivalent to $160 each month to stay active earn commissions.
The monthly Active Expense is known as, “Pay and Play!” If you want to earn, you have to pay.
Any distributor that fails to maintain Active Status, all sales volume will be flushed, and no commission is paid.

NHT Global believes that it offers the most lucrative compensation plan in the mlm history.
Well, this not the first time for an mlm company to make such a statement.
We will analyze the NHT Global compensation plan to find out the truth.
I’ll provide an overview of the NHT Global compensation plan. To see it in detail, just download a copy.
Before we begin, I want to share with you this, “NHT Global offers you a Binary compensation plan.”
Binary compensation is considered one of the most difficult to make money in the mlm business.
Why?
Because you have to build two successful organizations, not one, to earn.
Does this sound like a lucrative compensation plan?
OK, let discuss the NHT Global compensation plan.
NHT Global says there are 4 ways to earn. No, you only have two options to earn with mlm opportunity: Sell Products and/or recruiting others to join.
Make Money Selling NHT Global Products
NHT Global distributors can purchase products at the discount price to resell, or they can sell directly from their own NHT Global replicated website to earn a retail profit.
The product discount price is determined based on your enrollment status, from 5% to 30%.
This sounds easy money, right?

Here’s the price for the same bottle on the NHT Global website.
Can you make a retail profit based on the price above?
Overprice is the reason why you can never earn a retail profit selling mlm product on the market.
It will be a challenge for distributors to make money selling NHT Global products.
Make Money Recruiting Others
You have several ways to earn from recruiting activities. But you must be active and qualified to receive the commission.
You are active if you purchase an enrollment package.
To qualify, you must recruit two people into your team, one on the left and one on the right.
Once you meet the two requirements above, here are your primary options to earn:
Generational Bonus
You will earn between 5% to 10% Generational Bonus of the BV on every order placed by your personally sponsored downline.
Override Bonuses
A $50 is earned when one of your team sales volume reached 2,000 BV and the other reach 1,000 BV.
Matching Extra Bonus
This bonus is paid on personally sponsored Member’s express override bonuses up to seven levels deep and according to a Member’s rank.
Below is the breakdown of the commission percentage based on rank.
As you can see, there are multiple ways to earn. But no money is paid unless you are active and qualified.
This is the trick with mlm. Ways to earn is not the same as qualifying to receive the money.
Qualification requires more product purchases or recruiting more people.
You can potentially earn nothing under the NHT Global compensation plan because the costs staying active and qualified exceeded the bonuses and commissions received.
When evaluating mlm opportunity like NHT Global, you cannot rely on the compensation plan to determine the distributor’s income.
You must look at the actual bonuses and commissions received to understand the business profit and loss.
Can You Make Money With NHT Global?
You cannot rely on the compensation plan and believe that you can make money with NHT Global.
Here’s what I mean,
The NHT Global compensation plan offers POTENTIAL EARNINGS, not real income.
To know the actual income, you need a copy of the Income Disclosure Statement (IDS).
The NHT Global Income Disclosure Statement (IDS) provides ACTUAL INCOMES received by distributors.
Where can you get a copy of the IDS?
You can request one at the time of enrollment. The laws require NHT Global to provide you a copy together with the compensation plan.
As a business review writer, I look to the actual incomes to advise clients on an investment.
If NHT Global refuses to provide you a copy, don’t join. This is a sign of a potential scam.
Anyway, I have a copy of the NHT Global IDS for us to use with this NHT Global review.
Incomes Earned By NHT Global Distributors
NHT Global stated in the IDS that 37.8% of distributors earned commissions.
This means over 62% of distributors earned nothing in 2018.
Before you get excited and concluded that you can make money with NHT Global.
I like to remind you that the commissions reported in the IDS are before taxes and expenses.
What happens if we deduct the business expenses?
Let just use the active expenses, $160 a month.
Those distributors that earned $1,000 a year, $83.33 a month, did not make money after taking out expenses. They didn’t even earn enough to pay for the products.
The next group is the $5,000 earners. To me, earning $5,000 gross income per year is not a good investment.
If you deduct all the business expenses, the $5,000 earners (8%) made little or no money with NHT Global.
This leaves us only 2% of distributors made money.
It is the same as saying that 98% of NHT Global distributors did not make money in 2018.
After reviewing NHT Global IDS, I can tell you that your chance of making money with mlm as a first-year distributor near zero.
Why I am so confident?
Because you must be in the top 2% to make money. This is impossible for a new distributor to achieve.
Is Natural NHT Global A Scam?
NHT Global uses the compensation plan to trick people in joining the business opportunity is a scam to me.
But in our business world, this is considered an acceptable business activity.
Natural Health Trends Corp is a business opportunity, and every business has risks.
You are responsible to carefully research, study, and investigate NHT Global before investing.
If you join without doing proper researches, then you cannot call NHT Global a scam.
Reading this NHT Global Review is a good way to learn the risks and rewards before joining the program.

The only way to sell NHT Global products is by recruiting others into the business.
The more people that you bring in, the more money you earn.
The primary customers of most mlm companies are their distributors, those seeking to make money with NHT Global.
Recruiting is the way to get promoted and make money.
Doesn’t this make NHT Global a pyramid scheme?
You don’t have to agree with me.
But, based on our NHT Global Review, you must accept that NHT Global is not a lucrative business opportunity.
The NHT Global compensation plan was designed to make money for Natural Health Trends Corp, not to help you achieve your goals and dreams.
Is Natural Health Trends Corp Worth It?
This is an individual decision. I hope this NHT Global review provides you enough information to make this yourself.
