What Is SeneGence?
SeneGence is a multilevel marketing company that manufactures, distributes and sells makeup and skincare products with the popular Long-Lasting lipstick, LipSense.
SeneGence was founded by Joni Rogers-Kante in 1999 to promote color cosmetics which include its leading product, LipSense – long-lasting lip color.
SeneGence sells its products through an mlm network of over 500,000 independent distributors operating in over 13 different countries.
SeneGence estimated sales revenue is over $1billion.
The company does not publish its income disclosure statement (IDS). This financial document provides important financial information regarding the profits and losses of operating a SeneGence mlm business.
From my review experiences, an mlm company that doesn’t release the IDS report is a Reflag. SeneGence is hiding the fact that the majority of distributors are not making money.
I strongly urge you to carefully consider and compare SeneGence with other home-based opportunities before investing.

How To Become A SeneGence Distributor?
To become a SeneGence distributor, you need a sponsor.
If you don’t have a sponsor, you can visit the SeneGence website to request for a local distributor near you.
Your sponsor can submit your application to SeneGence with appropriate fees to launch your SeneGence business.
Paying the registration fee to become a distributor is not enough. If you want to build a business and earn the commission, you must be an active and qualified distributor.
Active and qualified require purchasing a New Distributor Pack and meeting the monthly sales quota, which I’ll discuss in the next section of this SeneGence review.
The Costs To Become A SeneGence Distributor
The cost to join SeneGence is $55. This is the application fee and the cost of a new distributor kit.
Enrolling with a distributor kit, you are only entitled to receive a 20% commission. This is not enough if you want to build a business and make money with SeneGence.
To earn the highest commission, you must purchase one of the following New Distributor Pack with the price ranging from $345 to $1,195.
Purchasing the most expensive distributor pack will entitle you to receive the highest commission, 50%.
Besides the initial investment, there are expenses to stay in business and receive the commissions.
SeneGence requires all distributors to maintain an active and qualified status.
All SeneGence distributors must submit at least 100 PV (Point Value) order, approximately $200, every 6 months to remain active.
Every SeneGence distributor must submit an order of at least 300 PV, about $600, order each month to qualify for team commissions.
The cost to join SeneGence is not $55. You must also include the cost to become active and qualified.
You should pay attention to the monthly Qualified Expense.
SeneGence is a Pay and Play business opportunity. If you want to earn, you have to pay.
Any distributor that fails to maintain the $600 per month qualified requirement is not allowed to receive the bonuses and commissions from SeneGence business.
Remember, the expenses above do not include your time, the marketing costs, travel expenses, and gas.
The monthly qualified expense can destroy your business profit if you cannot resell the products. They become business losses.
Other home-based businesses, such as Affiliate Marketing, you earn the commission on every sale, no need to be active and qualified.

The SeneGence compensation offers you the options to make money with SeneGence.

As an mlm opportunity, SeneGence offers you two options to earn: Sell Products and/or recruiting others to join SeneGence.
Make Money Selling SeneGence Products
SeneGence distributors can either purchase products at wholesale price to resell, or they can sell directly from the replicated website.
The sales commission is determined based on the distributor pack that you purchased at the time of enrollment. The lowest commission is 20%, and the highest commission is 50%.
This sounds simple to make money, right?
Well, I did a quick search online and found a LipSense Lipstick selling for $9.
This Lipstick sells on the SeneGence website for $25.00.
Can you make a retail profit selling SeneGence products on the market?
It will be a challenge.
Overprice is the reason why distributors have a hard time to make money selling SeneGence products.
Make Money Recruiting SeneGence Distributors
When you cannot sell products, the only option to make money is recruiting distributors.
As long as you are active and qualified, here are ways to make money with SeneGence.
Downline Commission
You can earn between 5% to 30% up to 5 levels.
However, to receive the downline commission, you must place an order of at least 200 PV ($400) each month.
Group Sales Volume Bonus
SeneGence offers between 2% to 10% of group sales volume bonus up to 5 levels.
But to receive the bonus, you must submit an order of 300 PV ($600) each month.
There are other leadership bonuses and incentives which require more purchasing of SeneGence overpriced products to qualify. You can refer to the compensation plan
for more information.
As you can see, there are multiple ways to earn with SeneGence. But to get paid, you must remain active and qualified.
This is how mlm works. Ways to earn is not the same as qualifying to receive the money.
Qualification requires more product purchases and/or recruits more people.
You can potentially earn nothing under the SeneGence compensation plan because the costs staying active and qualified might exceed the commissions received.
Can You Really Make Money With SeneGence?
When evaluating SeneGence opportunity, you cannot rely on the compensation plan to determine the business income.
Here’s what I mean,
The SeneGence compensation plan offers POTENTIAL EARNINGS, not real income.
To determine SeneGence distributors’ actual income, you need a copy of the SeneGence Income Disclosure Statement (IDS). This financial document provides ACTUAL INCOMES that distributors received from SeneGence.
But, where can you get a copy of the IDS?
You can request one at the time of enrollment. The law requires SeneGence to provide you a copy together with the compensation plan.
As a business review writer, I look to the actual incomes to advise clients on an investment.
If SeneGence refuses to provide you a copy of the income disclosure statement, don’t join. This is a sign of a scam.
But you don’t need a copy of the IDS to know that 99% of mlm businesses failed.
Why?
Because SeneGence compensation plan was not designed for you to make money. It was designed for the company to make money.
SeneGence doesn’t release the IDS report to the public, because they don’t want people to know the truth. You cannot make money with SeneGence.
Is SeneGence A Scam?
Yes, it’s no easy to make money selling LipSense. But SeneGence is not a scam.
SeneGence is a business opportunity. Every business has risks.
You are responsible to carefully research, study, and investigate SeneGence before joining.
If you become a SeneGence distributor without doing the proper researches, then you cannot call SeneGence a scam.
