What Is Trevo?

Trevo is the name of a supplement drink that manufacture and distribute by an MLM company, Trevo.

This supplement drink contains 174 of the very finest ingredients to provide your body with all the essential vitamins and minerals.

Trevo was created by a husband and wife team, Mark and Holli Stevens, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in 2010.

The Stevens decided to adopt the MLM business model to distribute its products and offer you an opportunity to start your own business.

At the time of this Trevo review, the company estimated annual sales revenue is $30 million.

However, the company provides little or no financial information regarding Life and Health Coaches’ income.

Trevo no longer provides an annual income disclosure statement (IDS) to the public.

You need the IDS report to know your potential income as a Trevo Life and Health Coach.

A bad performing MLM opportunity will try to hide the annual IDS report. This should be a warning to all investors.

Never invest in an MLM opportunity unless the company provides you a copy of the IDS report.

I’ll discuss the importance of the IDS report later in this Trevo review.

I strongly recommend that you carefully evaluate and compare Trevo with other home-based business opportunities before joining.

You can use My #1 Business Opportunity to make a comparison.

How To Join Trevo Business?

This is an MLM opportunity. You need to have a sponsor (enroller) to join the Trevo business.

Any active Trevo Life and Health Coach can become a sponsor. You can easily find one online by doing a Google search.

Once you have the sponsor ID, you can visit the company website to start the application process.

You are required to purchase one of the five PowerStart Systems (PS) to launch your own Trevo business.

Your rank and commission rate will be determined by the PowerStart System that you have purchased.

I’ll discuss the total costs to become an active Trevo Life and Health Coach in the following sections of this Trevo review.

How Much Does It Cost to Join Trevo?

The cost to join Trevo is from $150 to $960 depending on the PowerStart System (PS) that you have chosen.

You can select one of the following five PS:

  • PS2 – Empowered PS $150 with 75 Group Volume Points (GVP)
  • PS3 –Director PS $300 with 300 GVP
  • PS4 – Elite Director PS $450 with 500 GVP
  • PS5 – Executive PS $750 with 700 GVP
  • PS6 – Elite Executive PS $1,200 with 1000 GVP

Purchasing the PS6 will offer you the best rank and qualified for all commissions available under the Trevo compensation plan.

The costs listed above are just to get your business up and running. There is a monthly purchasing volume (PV) requirements that you must maintain to qualify for residual commissions.

I will discuss the monthly PV requirements in the compensation plan section of this Trevo review.

One thing that I hate about MLM is the monthly purchase volume requirement. This is designed to convert you into a paying customer.

Think about it. Why do you have to purchase products to be eligible for commissions?

With Affiliate Marketing, you earn commissions on every sale. No purchase is required.

To understand why MLM opportunities require a monthly PV, you should read our discussion on MLM vs. Affiliate Marketing.

How You Make Money With Trevo?

Trevo says you have 8 options to make money. This is just marketing hype.

There are only two ways to make money with Trevo MLM: Sell Trevo drink or recruit Life and Health Coach into your team.

If you want to make a lot of money with Trevo, you better focus on recruiting and team building.

Allow me to explain:

Make Money Selling Trevo Drink

The simplest way to make money with Trevo is buying products at wholesale and sell retail for profits.

The wholesale price of 1 (32oz) Trevo Bottle is $60 and 10 (2oz) Trevo Bottles is $30.00.

Trevo drink price

Trevo claims you can retail the Trevo drinks up to 40% profit.

Let be honest, how many people will pay $84 for a 32oz juice bottle?

Overprice is the reason you cannot make money selling MLM products on the market.

The best method to sell Trevo drinks is to recruit others to join your team. Once they joined as a Life and Health Coach, they have to purchase products every month to maintain their qualified status.

Make Money Recruit Others To Join Trevo

You must be a qualified Life and Health Coach to earn residual income with Trevo. The first step to qualify is purchasing a PowerStart System (PS).

When a member of your team purchases a PS or Trevo drink, you earn the following residual commissions:

PowerStart (PS) Commission

This commission is earned when you personally enroll a Life and Health Coach with a purchase of a PS package.

The PS commission is calculated using your PowerStart qualified level, the PS package that you have purchased, not the one you sold.

For example, you purchase a PS2 package. You enroll me with a PS3 purchased. You earn a 40% PS commission based on the price of the PS2 package, which is $60 ($150 x 40%).

If you have purchased the PS3 package, your PS commission would have been $120 ($300 x 40%).

But you only receive $60. What happens to the other $60?

The $60 remaining portion of the commission will rollup to the next qualified Life and Health Coach in your team.

This compensation plan is designed to encourage you to purchase the highest level (PS6) if you don’t want to miss out on commissions.

Matching Bonus

This 20% commission is earned each time a team member whom you have personally enrolled enrolls a new Trevo Life and Health Coach.

The commission is calculated much like the PowerStart Commission. It uses your PS level of qualification.

Team Override Commission

Trevo allows you to build a team up to 8 levels with unlimited width.

Trevo team levels

However, you must be a qualified Life and Health Coach to earn team override commissions.

Qualification for override commission is based on your Autoship placement, your monthly Qualify Purchase Volume (QVP).

The minimum monthly Autoship order is 1 Trevo 32oz bottle. This unlocks the first level of team commissions.

To unlock all 8 levels of override commissions, you must place a monthly Autoship order of 2 cases of 32oz Trevo drinks.

Trevo Autoship requirements

What happens if you stop your Autoship?

You will not qualify for team override commissions.

Yes, you have to purchase products every month to earn commissions with Trevo.

Below is the Trevo team commissions chart, assuming you qualify for all 8 levels.

Trevo group commissions

There are other leadership commissions and bonuses that you can earn with Trevo. However, they are not the primary option to make money. You can download a copy of the Trevo Compensation Plan to learn more about them.

I hope you can see that the Trevo compensation plan was designed to convert Life and Health Coaches into customers. They are forced to purchase products to qualify for commissions. This is how Trevo sells their drinks.

Can You Make Money with Trevo?

You can make money with Trevo. But I don’t think this business is profitable.

Since Trevo doesn’t publish an Income Disclosure Statement (IDS). This is a red flag.

Unprofitable MLM opportunities tend to hide their distributors’ income.

It doesn’t look good to be a Trevo Life and Health Coach.

Well, you don’t need a copy of the Trevo IDS report to know that 99% of MLM business owners make little or no money.

Why?

Because the MLM compensation plans are designed to recruit customers, not business owners. That’s how Trevo makes money selling supplement drink.

Is Trevo a Scam?

Trevo offers you a business opportunity. Even though this business opportunity is not profitable, Trevo MLM is not a scam.

There are always risks when starting a business.

However, Trevo MLM is a high-risk investment. Over 99% of MLM businesses fail in the first year.

Don’t join an MLM opportunity because someone tells you it has the best products or the best opportunity on earth.

Join an MLM opportunity only after you have evaluated and analyzed the business financial documents to determine its profitability. The quickest way to do all this is by reading Trevo reviews.

Reviews that discuss the risks, rewards, and profitability of operating a Trevo business.

Earning a living as a Business Review writer, I have evaluated hundreds of home-based and MLM business opportunities. Yes, Trevo is not a scam, but you will not achieve financial success as a Trevo Life and Health Coach.

Is Trevo A Pyramid Scheme?

MLM that reward members based on recruiting activities is a pyramid scheme.

Under the Trevo compensation plan, you make money when your team members purchased Trevo products to qualify for commissions.

So, the more people that you can bring in, the more money you make from their monthly Autoship purchases.

Look at Trevo MLM business structure bellow, it’s easy to see the people at the top of the pyramid will make a lot of money. But people in lower levels earn little or nothing. This is how you build a pyramid.

Trevo team levels

You don’t have to agree with me that Trevo is a pyramid scheme. But you can’t deny that the compensation plan is designed to convert you into a customer, not to help you build a successful business.

Is Trevo Worth It?

Trevo is not worth it to invest your time and money.

This MLM opportunity is launched to sell you Trevo drink. You are unlikely to make a lot of money with this venture.

Let think about it,

The MLM business strategy is to recruit you as a Life and Health Coaches, then require you to purchase products to qualify for commissions. Yes, you are a customer of Trevo, not a business partner.

One more point, Trevo MLM opportunities is not a home-based business. You cannot recruit people from the comfort of your home. You must travel to meet clients to conduct face-to-face sales and recruits.
