The first time reading about 4Life Transfer Factor, the word SCAM came into my mind. Is this 4Life a scam?
But then I found out 4Life is an mlm company. I immediately thought, is this 4Life a pyramid scheme?
We all know that a pyramid scheme is a scam. If 4Life is a pyramid scheme, then 4Life is a scam.
Yes, we start a business to make money and achieve financial freedom.
Who wants to waste time and money with a pyramid scheme or a scam?

What Is 4Life?
4Life is an mlm company that manufactures and sells transfer factor immune support products through a network of over 50,000 independent distributors worldwide.
The company was started by husband and wife team, David and Bianca Lisonbee, in 1998 with headquarters in Sandy, Utah.
In 2003, Inc. Magazine named 4Life as the 15th fastest-growing, privately-held company in the US.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in November 2004 issued a warning letter against 4Life for deceptive and misleading marketing practices. The company took immediate action and fire a few distributors.
However, on September 22, 2010, the FDA placed 4Life Transfer Factor Plus products on the Fraudulent Products List, warning consumers against the claim of using the product as an immune support formula fighting H1N1 Flu Virus.
4Life reported $324.9 million in annual sales revenue for 2018.
The company IDS reported the largest commission was paid to less than 1% of 4Life distributors.
It’s smart to compare with other home-based business opportunities before investing with 4Life.

How to Join 4Life?
You have two option to join 4Life, as a Preferred Customer or a Distributor.
Most of you interested in building a business promoting and selling 4Life. So, this 4Life review will focus on the process of becoming a 4Life distributor.
You need a sponsor to join 4Life as a distributor. Your sponsor is your upline.
If you don’t have a sponsor, 4Life will assign one for you.
You can join 4Life through a current distributor website with a local distributor.
The joining process requires completing a simple distributor application and paying the fee to launch your own 4Life business.
But, to earn commissions, you must meet the monthly Principal Volume (PV) requirement with product sales and/or recruiting.
How Much Does It Cost to Join 4Life?
The cost to join 4Life is $29.95 retail or $25.00 wholesale to purchase an enrollment kit.
Then, there are business expenses to operate a 4Life mlm business.
Business expenses include supplies and monthly Qualification Expense.
All 4Life distributors are required to generate a minimum of 100 PV to stay in business and earn residual incomes with 4Life.
100 PV is approximately about $140 of products ordered each month.
This qualification expense is known as, “Pay and Play!” If you want to earn, you have to pay.
A distributor that fails to maintain the monthly Qualification requirements is to allow to participate in receiving commissions from 4Life.
The expenses above do not include your time, the marketing costs, traveling, and gas expenses.
You should be concerned with the monthly Qualification Expense. This expense can easily destroy your chance of making a profit because if you cannot resell the products, it becomes a business loss.
Home-based businesses, such as Affiliate Marketing, never require personal purchased to earn the commission.

4Life Compensation Plan
4Life claims there are multiple ways to earn money under their compensation plan.
But, as an mlm company, 4Life offers two options to earn, selling products or recruiting others.
I’ll provide you an overview of the 4Life compensation plan. To see it in detail, just download a copy.
Before starting our compensation discussion, I want to explain how 4Life calculates the bonus and commission on each sale.
The bonuses and commissions are calculated using Life Points (LP).
The LP is points assigned to each product by 4Life. Here’s a sample LP list.
When you sold a Tri-Factor formula 5 Pack at a wholesale price of $184.00, your commission is determined using the 150 LP, not the $184.
I hope you can see that 4Life 25% commission doesn’t mean 25%.
Here’s how this works: 150 LP X 25% = $37.50.
This means, on a $184 order, the actual commission is 20.4%. I hope you can see this 4Life scam.
Now, we can start looking at how you make money with the 4Life compensation plan.
Make Money Selling 4Life Products
4Life distributor can purchase the products at wholesale price to resell or selling directly from their own 4Life replicated website.
It sounds simple to make a retail profit, right?
Well, here’s what I found.
I did a search online and found a bottle of 4LIFE Transfer Factor Plus selling for $39.99.
The same bottle on 4Life website with a retail price of $76 and the wholesale price of $57.
Overprice is the reason why you can never sell mlm products on the market for a profit.
It will be a challenge to make a retail profit selling 4Life products when customers can purchase at a much cheaper price.
Make Money Recruiting Others
4Life distributor must be an Associate to earn the commission from recruiting.
Associate rank is achieved by placing a 100 LP monthly order, about $140.
The first recruiting commission is called Rapid Reward, which pays 25% commission on the first order of every new Preferred Customer or Distributor.
4Life offers distributor a 3 level of Builder Bonuses: $50, $200, and $800.
However, to receive the Builder Bonus, you must meet the followings:
- Be a qualified Builder rank with 100 PV,
- Personally Enrolled 3 to 9 preferred customers or distributor, and
- 600 LP to 1,800 LP in total Team Volume.
The more people you recruit in 4Life, the bigger the bonus.
The residual incomes are paid from 2% to 25% based on your rank.
However, Infinity Payout does begin until to reach the Diamond rank.
This is the trick with mlm opportunities. They offer you multiple ways to earn commissions. But, to receive the commission, you must be a Qualified.
Qualification means you are either purchasing more products or recruiting more people to join.
With the 4Life compensation plan, earning commissions and bonuses mean one thing and receiving the money is another.
Therefore, to evaluate 4Life business opportunity, we cannot rely on the compensation plan.
Knowing the actual incomes received by distributors will give us an idea of the business profit and loss.
Can You Make Money With 4Life?
Never look at the 4Life compensation plan and thinks you can make a lot of money.
Here’s what I mean,
The 4Life compensation plan offers POTENTIAL EARNING, not the actual income.
The 4Life income disclosure statement (IDS) contains ACTUAL INCOMES received by distributors from 4Life.
Where can you get a copy of 4Life IDS?
You can request a copy at the time enrolling with 4Life. The laws require 4Life to provide a copy to every recruit.
Never invest with 4Life until you see the income disclosure statement.
If they refuse to provide you a copy, this is a sign of a potential scam.
Not to worry, I have a copy of the IDS. You should download one to continue with our 4Life review discussion.
As a business review writer, I look to the actual business incomes to advise clients on an investment. Potential earnings are just a guess, an estimate.
With the IDS, you can evaluate your chance of making money with 4Life.
Actual Incomes Received By 4Life Distributors
4Life reported about 16% of Distributors received no income for the year.
However, this number is much higher.
Now, let look at the other 84% that make some money.
72% earned an annual average income of only $900, which was $75 per month.
We know distributors must spend $140 each month to qualify for the commission.
Spent $140 to receive $75 earnings, another 72% of 4Life distributors did not make money. This brings the number up to 88%.
The next 10% earned an average annual income of $6,576, which was $548 a month.
If we deduct the business expenses, this 10% take home very little or nothing. This makes 98% of distributors earned no income.
To make money with 4Life, you must be in the top 2%. This group
Looking at the IDS, I can tell you that you cannot make money with 4Life.
Why I am so confident?
Because 98% of distributors earned no income last year.
Is 4Life A Scam?
It is hard to make money, but I cannot say 4Life is a scam.
4Life offers you a business opportunity. Every investment opportunity has risks.
4Life is a high-risk opportunity. Your chance of success is low, 2%.
When you join 4Life and the business fails, you cannot call 4Life a scam.
You need to carefully research the opportunity before joining.
Reading this 4Life Review is a good way to learn the risks and rewards associated with 4Life.

Distributors are forced to purchase expensive products every month to remain active and earn the commission.
The only way to sell 4Life products is by recruiting others to join.
The more people join your team, the more money you earn.
With mlm companies, their distributors are their primary customers.
Recruiting is the way to get promoted and earn more commissions with 4Life.
According to 4Life IDS, 98% of distributors earned nothing with a small group at the top make all the money.
Doesn’t this make 4Life a pyramid scheme?
I know, not everyone will agree with me.
But, based on our 4Life Review, you must accept that only a small group at the top of the 4Life pyramid made money.
Is 4Life Worth It?
You should be able to answer this question after reading this 4Life review.
For me, I would never start a business with a failure rate of 98%.
