What Is Le-Vel?

Le-Vel is a multilevel marketing (mlm) company that designs, manufactures, and sells dietary supplements, including a product line called “Thrive,” a nutritional patch that helps you to lose weight.

Le-Vel sells its product through an exclusive network of over 175,168 home-business owners, called “Promoter”.

Le-Vel was founded by Jason Camper and Paul Gravette in 2012 with headquarters in Frisco, Texas.

The company estimated sales revenue is $449 Million.

However, Le-Vel doesn’t publish the income disclosure statement (IDS). This financial document provides crucial information regarding the profits and losses of operating a Le-Vel mlm business. It makes you wonder what is Le-Vel trying to hide?

You must carefully consider and compare Le-Vel business with other home-based business opportunities before joining.

You can use My #1 Business Opportunity to make a comparison.

How To Become A Thrive Le-Vel Promoter?

You need a sponsor to become a Thrive Le-Vel promoter.

It is easy to find a current Le-Vel promoter online, then register for a free account through that referral website.

However, to build a business and make money with Le-Vel, you must purchase a Starter Kit, remain active, and become a qualified Promoter. I’ll discuss all of this in the following sections of this Le-Vel review.

How Much Does It Cost To Join Le-Vel?

You can register with Le-Vel for free.

But to join Le-Vel as a qualified promoter, you must purchase one of the four enrollment packages which cost $45, $200, $400, or $800.

To earn all bonuses and commissions, you will have to purchase the $800 enrollment package.

Le-Vel review enrollment packages

These enrollment packages contain products and marketing materials for you to launch your Le-Vel mlm business.

Besides the starter kit cost, you must maintain an active and qualified promoter to make money with Le-Vel.

Le-Vel requires Promoters to generate at least 100 PV (Personal Volume) each month to remain active, approximately $100 of monthly products ordered.

There are other qualifications required for bonuses and team commissions, which I’ll discuss in the compensation plan section of this Le-Vel review.

As you can see, the cost to join Le-Vel is more than an enrollment package. You must purchase products every month to maintain an active and qualified status to receive the commissions.

You should pay attention to the monthly Qualified Expenses.

Le-Vel is a Pay and Play business opportunity. If you want to earn, you have to pay.

Any Promoter that fails to maintain a qualified or active status is not allowed to receive the bonuses and commissions from Le-Vel.

The expenses above do not include your time, marketing costs, travel expenses, and gas.

Over purchasing of Le-Vel products to meet the monthly qualified expenses can destroy your business profits if you cannot resell them. They become business losses.

In other home-based businesses, such as Affiliate Marketing, you earn the commission on every sale, no need to be active and qualified.

Why Le-Vel has active and qualified requirements?

To force you to buy products and to avoid being classified as a pyramid scheme under the FTC guideline. (Check our discussion on the FTC MLM Guideline for more information.)

Le-Vel Compensation Plan Review

The Le-Vel compensation plan is complicated, confusing, and difficult to understand. I believe this was intentional.

One example is the commission calculation. Le-Vel calculates commission using BV, which is 50% of the retail price.

OK, let say you sold a Le-Vel product for $200 and the commission is 20%. Here’s how Le-Vel determines your commission:

  • The BV of this order is $100 (50% of $200)
  • You earn a $20 commission on this $200 sale. ($100 x 20%).

Using BV, Le-Vel has inflated the commission rate. Based on the calculation above, the real commission rate is only 10% ($20/$200), not 20%.

I’ll try to provide you with a simple version of the Le-Vel compensation plan. To see it in detail, just download a copy.

Le-Vel claims that you have multiple options to make money with the Le-Vel compensation plan.

But upon careful analysis, Le-Vel offers you two options to earn: selling products and/or building a team.

Make Money Selling Le-Vel

You earn retail commissions by purchasing products to resell or by selling directly from the Le-Vel replicated website.

All Promoters start with a base retail commission is 20% on the BV.

It sounds easy. But the question is, can you sell Le-Vel on the market?

I did a quick search on eBay, the famous site for dumping mlm products. I found a lot of Le-Vel Thrive Patches selling very cheap.

This tells us the reason so many promoters dumped their Le-Vel Thrive on eBay because they cannot sell them at the suggested retail price.

Overpriced is the reason many promoters have a hard time making money.

Make Money Recruiting Others

The best way to make money with an mlm opportunity is not selling products, but recruiting others to join your team.

However, as a Le-Vel Promoter, you must be an active and qualified promoter to earn team commissions and bonuses.

Override Retail Commission

Le-Vel offers from 4% to 12% weekly override retail commissions up to 3 levels.

Is Le-Vel a scam commissions?

But to receive the override retail commissions, you must be active and qualified by ordering $100 PV every month.

Infinity Fast Start

You can earn from $5 to $140 every time someone enrollment or upgrade package is purchased by new or upgrade promoters 4 levels deep.

You can earn an additional 10% infinity fast start match commission when you personally enrolled two active and qualified promoters. This commission can increase to 20% if you personally enrolled 8 active and qualified promoters.

Uni-Level Team Commissions

Le-Vel offers 4% to 8% team commissions up to 8 levels, but you have to be an active and qualified promoter to receive this commission.

There are other leadership bonuses and incentives which require more purchasing of Le-Vel overpriced products to qualify. You can refer to the compensation plan
for more information.

As you can see, there are multiple ways to earn with Le-Vel. But to get paid, you must purchase products and more products.

This is how mlm works. Ways to earn is not the same as qualifying to receive the money.

You can potentially earn nothing with Le-Vel because the cost of purchasing products to remain active and qualified might exceed the commissions received.

Can You Make Money With Le-Vel?

If you want to analyze the promoters’ actual income, you need to look at the Le-Vel income disclosure statement (IDS).

But, where can you get a copy of the IDS?

You can request one at the time of enrollment. The law requires Le-Vel to provide you a copy together with the compensation plan.

As a business review writer, I look to the actual incomes to evaluate a business opportunity.

If Le-Vel refuses to provide you with a copy of the income disclosure statement, don’t join. This is a bad sign. It might be a scam.

But you don’t need a copy of the IDS to know that 99% of mlm businesses failed.

Why?

Because the Le-Vel compensation plan is not designed for you to make money. It’s designed for Le-Vel to sell products.

Just go back and review the compensation plan discussion above, why do you think promoters must be active and qualified to earn the commissions?

Is Le-Vel A Scam?

Yes, Le-Vel was not founded for you to make money. However, this doesn’t make Le-Vel a scam.

Le-Vel is a business opportunity. Every business has risks.

You are responsible for carefully researching, studying, and investigating the Le-Vel business opportunity before joining.

Reading this Le-Vel Review is a good way to learn the risks and rewards associated with this home-based business opportunity.

Many entrepreneurs hire professional financial analysts to evaluate business profits and losses before investing.

As the owner of an Online Business Review, I have evaluated hundreds of mlm businesses to help investors identify and manage the risks.

As a business opportunity, Le-Vel is not a scam. It is a high-risk and unprofitable business opportunity.

Is Le-Vel A Pyramid Scheme?

Mlm companies are legit if they follow the FTC guideline.

Le-Vel might be legit under the law, but I don’t invest based on the laws.

I look at the compensation plan and Promoters’ income to determine a pyramid scheme.

If you look at the Le-Vel compensation plan, promoters are forced to purchase overpriced products to earn the commission.

Recruiting is the best option to make money, not selling products.

The more people you recruit, the more money you make. This is how a pyramid is built.

Every promoter becomes a customer of Le-Vel, purchasing products to stay active and qualified for bonuses and commissions.

Doesn’t this make Le-Vel a pyramid scheme?

Well, you don’t have to agree with me.

But you can’t deny that Le-Vel is not designed for you to achieve your dream of financial freedom.

It is not easy to make money as a Le-Vel promoter because the compensation plan was designed to turn you into a customer, not a business owner.

Is Le-Vel Worth It?

If you are into weight loss, then joining Le-Vel might be worth it. You get a discount for purchasing the products.

But if you are looking for a profitable home-based business opportunity, then Le-Vel might not be worth it.

However, the decision to join Le-Vel is yours to make.

Let’s ask ourselves this?

Do you know why you want to start a home-based business?

To earn extra money from home, to be your own boss, or to achieve financial freedom?

And to make money, we invest in a PROFITABLE business!

There are much better and less risky home-based business opportunities.

There’s NO traveling around town to attend late-night meetings and NO face-to-face sales or recruits with my online business.

The best part, you are working on the computer in your own home or anywhere you like.

One thing that Le-Vel rarely discloses to promoters is “Business Control”.

As a Le-Vel promoter, you must obey Le-Vel rules and policies to stay in business.

You have no control over what products to sell or how to promote your business.

What happens if Le-Vel goes out of business?

You are out of business!

You lose everything and nothing you can do about it. You have zero control.

You start a business to build long-term incomes.

You want to create a system that generates money far into the future. Isn’t this the #1 reason you want to build a successful business?

There’s a lucrative method that I and millions of people have been using to generate six-figure passive income online.

Can you write?

If your answer is “YES”, then why not use this skill to start your own highly lucrative online writing business, TODAY!

Look, I start a business to make money, not to get a discount on purchases.

When Le-Vel refuses to release the income disclosure statement, this should be a strong reason not to start a business with this company.

Why do you partner with a company that’s not willing to tell you the truth?

I don’t think you are going to get rich joining Le-Vel mlm.

There are much better home-based business opportunities compared to Le-Vel.

But this is your call.

I hope this Le-Vel review answers your questions, is Le-Vel a scam or legit?

Until next time.
