Perfectly Posh Review Summary
Initial Investments: $30 Or $99
Hate sales and recruits? I earn a full-time income online without doing either. Check out my #1 home-based business opportunity.
What Is Perfectly Posh?
Perfectly Posh is a multilevel marketing (mlm) company that manufactures and distributes a line of finest and natural pampering products designed to allow women to pamper themselves from head to toe.
The Perfectly Posh mission is to offer people products that “100% US-made and 100% natural.”
Perfectly Posh was launched by Ann Dalton and Andrew McBride, in 2011 with headquarters in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Perfectly Posh distributes and sells its products exclusively through an mlm network of influencers operating in the US.
The company estimated sales revenue is $100 Million.
Perfectly Posh doesn’t publish the income disclosure statement. This financial document provides crucial information regarding the profits and losses of operating a Perfectly Posh mlm business.
From my review experiences, an mlm company that doesn’t release the income disclosure statement is a Red flag.
Maybe, Perfectly Posh tries to hide the fact that influencers are not making money.
You must carefully consider and compare Perfectly Posh business with other home-based business opportunities before joining.
You can use My #1 Business Opportunity to make a comparison.
How To Join Perfectly Posh?
You need a Perfectly Posh influencer to sponsor you into Perfectly Posh.
It is fairly easy to find a Perfectly Posh influencer online, then registered through their website.
You can also visit the company to request for a local sponsor influencer near you.
To build a business and make money with Perfectly Posh, you must purchase one of the two Starter Kits, which I’ll discuss in the next section of this Perfectly Posh review.
How Much Does It Cost To Join Perfectly Posh?
There are multiple costs to join Perfectly Posh, $30 or $99, depending on your selection of a Starter Kit.
The difference between the starter kits is, with the $99 you earn 50 PV and 0 PV for the $30 kit.
Besides the fees above, you must be a qualified influencer to earn the highest level of bonuses and commissions.
Perfectly Posh also requires all influencers to remain active by paying the $10 annual renewal fee and the $7 per month for the replicated website.
To become a qualified influencer and earn downline commissions, you are required to have 500 PV (Personal Volume), approximately $990 personal order, every month.
As you can see, the cost to join Perfectly Posh is not $20. You must purchase products to become qualified for commissions.
You should pay attention to the monthly Qualified Expenses.
Perfectly Posh is a Pay and Play business opportunity. If you want to earn, you have to pay.
Any influencer that fails to maintain a qualified status is not allowed to receive the bonuses and commissions from Perfectly Posh.
The expenses above do not include your time, the marketing costs, travel expenses, and gas.
The monthly qualified expenses can destroy your business profit if you cannot resell the products. They become business losses.
Other home-based businesses, such as Affiliate Marketing, you earn the commission on every sale, no need to be active and qualified.
Why Perfectly Posh has this qualified requirement?
To force you to buy products and to avoid being classified as a pyramid scheme under the FTC guideline. (Check our discussion on the FTC MLM Guideline for more information.)
Perfectly Posh Compensation Plan
Recently, Perfectly Posh has changed its compensation plan which they claim to pay influencers more money.
But after a closer look, there is not much difference or changes to the Perfectly Posh compensation. It provides you two options to earn: selling products and/or building a team.
I’ll provide a quick analysis of the Perfectly Posh compensation plan. To see it in detail, just download a copy.
Before we discuss the Perfectly Posh compensation structure, there’s one important fact you need to know.
Perfectly Posh calculates commission using PV, not the dollar.
PV (Personal Volume) is points assigned to each product by Perfectly Posh.
Let say your recruit purchased a $99 starter kit with 50 PV. If your commission level is 15%, you earn $7.5 (50 PV x 15%), not $14.85 ($99 x 15%).
As you can see, the actual commission is 7.5%, not 15%.
Can you see the Perfectly Posh commission scam?
Make Money Selling Perfectly Posh Products
Perfectly Posh influencers earn between 15% to 40% commission on all retail sales from their replicated website.
The commission is determined based on your PV (Personal Volume) level.
But the question is, can you sell Perfectly Posh products on the market?
I did a quick search and find a lot of influencers dumping Perfectly Posh products
for as low as $1. This tells us many of them cannot sell the products.
Overpriced is the reason many influencers have a hard time making money by selling Perfectly Posh products.
Make Money Recruiting Others
As we all know, the best way to make money with mlm is not selling products, but recruiting others to join your team.
However, you must be a qualified influencer to earn downline commissions and bonuses with Perfectly Posh.
Frontline Volume (FLV) and Secondline Volume (SLV) Commission
Perfectly Posh offers a 10% and 15% FLV commission and a 10% and 16% SLV commission.
But to receive these commission, you must be a qualified influencer with at least 500 PV, that’s $990 personal order, and up to 2000 PV, that’s $3,960 personal order.
Here’s the qualification chart.
The monthly bonuses are earned by accumulating points with each point equal to $25.
However, to get paid, you must accumulate at least one point in each of the three categories: Recruiting, Frontline Volume, and Personal Volume.
Below are the requirements to get paid.
There are other leadership bonuses and incentives which require more purchasing of Perfectly Posh overpriced products to qualify. You can refer to the compensation plan for more information.
As you can see, there are multiple ways to earn with Perfectly Posh. But to get paid, you must purchase products to qualify.
This is how mlm works. Ways to earn is not the same as qualifying to receive the money.
You can potentially earn nothing with Perfectly Posh because the costs to be active and qualified might exceed the commissions received.
Can You Make Money With Perfectly Posh?
The Perfectly Posh compensation plan provides us the options to make money, not the influencers’ take-home income.
To know the actual income, you need to look at the Perfectly Posh income disclosure statement (IDS). This financial document provides ACTUAL INCOMES that influencer received from Perfectly Posh.
But, where can you get a copy of the IDS?
You can request one at the time of enrollment. The law requires Perfectly Posh to provide you a copy together with the compensation plan.
As a business review writer, I look to the actual incomes to advise clients on an investment.
If Perfectly Posh refuses to provide you a copy of the income disclosure statement, don’t join. This is a sign of a scam.
But you don’t need a copy of the IDS to know that 99% of mlm businesses failed.
Because mlm compensation plans are not designed for you to make money. They are designed for Perfectly Posh to sell products.
Just go back and review the compensation plan discussion above, why you think the ways to earn is not the same as qualifying to receive the money?
Is Perfectly Posh A Scam?
Yes, it is not easy to make money with Perfectly Posh. The company was launched to make money for the owners, not you.
However, this doesn’t make Perfectly Posh a scam.
Perfectly Posh is a business opportunity. Every business has risks.
You are responsible to carefully research, study, and investigate the Perfectly Posh business opportunity before investing.
Reading this Perfectly Posh Review is a good way to learn the risks and rewards associated with this opportunity.
Many entrepreneurs hire professional financial analysts to evaluate business profits and losses before investing.
As the owner of an Online Business Review, I have evaluated hundreds of mlm businesses to help investors identified and managed the risks.
Perfectly Posh is not a scam. It is an unprofitable business opportunity.
Is Perfectly Posh A Pyramid Scheme?
Mlm companies are legit if they follow the FTC guideline.
Perfectly Posh might be legit under the law, but I don’t make investment decisions based on the laws.
I look at the compensation plan and influencers’ income to determine a pyramid scheme.
I say Perfectly Posh is a pyramid scheme.
If you look at the Perfectly Posh compensation plan, influencers are forced to purchase overpriced products to earn the commission.
Recruiting is the best option to make money, not selling products.
The more people you recruit, the more money you make.
Influencers become the customers of Perfectly Posh.
Doesn’t this look like a pyramid scheme?
Well, you don’t have to agree with me.
But you can’t deny that Perfectly Posh is not designed for you to achieve the dream of financial freedom.
It is not easy to make money as a Perfectly Posh influencer because the Perfectly Posh compensation plan was designed to turn influencers into customers, not business owners.
Is Perfectly Posh Worth It?
If you are like to pamper yourself with Perfectly Posh products, then joining Perfectly Posh is worth it. You get discounts on purchasing products.
But if you are looking for a profitable business opportunity to make money from home, then Perfectly Posh is not worth it.
However, the decision to join Perfectly Posh is yours to make.
Can I ask you this?
Do you know why you want to start a home-based business?
To earn extra money from home, to be your own boss, or to achieve financial freedom?
And to make money, we invest in a PROFITABLE business!
As an affiliate marketer, there’s NO traveling around town to attend late-night meetings and NO face-to-face sales or recruits.
The best part, you are working on the computer in your own home or anywhere you like.
Affiliate marketing is one of the most powerful work from home business opportunity to earn passive income. I recommend you read, MLM vs. Affiliate Marketing to learn.
One thing that Perfectly Posh rarely discloses to the influencers is “Business Control”.
As a Perfectly Posh influencer, you have to obey Perfectly Posh rules and policies to stay in business.
You have no control over what products to sell or how to promote your business.
What happens if Perfectly Posh goes out of business?
You are out of business!
You lose everything and nothing you can do about it. You have zero control over the business.
You start a business to build long-term incomes.
You want to create a system that generates money far into the future.
Isn’t this the #1 reason you want to build a successful business?
If you want to be an owner of a lucrative and profitable business that generates six-figure passive income, then…
You should read my #1 recommended online business opportunity.
Can you write?
If your answer is “YES”, then why not use this skill to start your own highly lucrative online writing business, TODAY!
So, should I join if Perfectly Posh is a pyramid scheme or a scam?
You know, I start a business to make money, not to pamper myself with products.
I don’t think you are going to get rich selling Perfectly Posh.
For me, this is not a good opportunity.
There are much better home-based business opportunities compared to Perfectly Posh.
But this is your call.
