What Is Valentus?
Valentus is the manufacture and distributor of the weight loss management coffee sticks that can be added to and mixed with water.
The company mission is to “help people PREVAIL in ALL aspects of their life” by creating a company, a product line, and an opportunity built on a foundation of integrity.
Valentus was launched by Dave Jordan in 2014 with headquarters in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Valentus distributes and sells its products through an mlm network of independent representative operating throughout the US, UK, and Canada.
The company estimated sales revenue is $50 Million.
Valentus doesn’t publish the income disclosure statement. This financial document provides crucial information regarding the profits and losses of operating a Valentus mlm business.
From my review experiences, an mlm company that doesn’t release the income disclosure statement is a Red flag, especially with startup mlm.
Maybe, Valentus tries to hide the fact that independent representatives are not making money.
At the time of writing this review, Valentus is 5 years old mlm company. This business opportunity is considered a high-risk investment.
You must carefully consider and compare Valentus business with other home-based business opportunities before joining.

How To Join Valentus?
A sponsor is required to join Valentus.
It is fairly easy to search for a Valentus independent representative online, then registered through their website.
All new Valentus independent representatives are required to purchase one of the Starter Packs at the time of enrollment.
However, purchasing a starter pack doesn’t mean you will earn commissions.
To build a successful business and make money with Valentus, you must become active and qualified.
Active and qualified require you to purchase products and meet the sales quota, which I’ll discuss in the next section of this Valentus review.
How Much Does It Cost To Join Valentus?
The cost to join Valentus is $20 to activate your account and the replicated website.
Besides the activation fee, there are expenses to stay in business and receive commissions from Valentus.
Valentus requires independent representatives to maintain an active and qualified status.
To become an active representative, you are required to place an order of 50 BV (Business Volume), approximately $50, every month.
To qualify for higher ranks and better commissions, you must purchase a Starter Pack, which prices from $59.95 to $1,199.95.
Below is the qualification for each starter pack.
As you can see, the cost to join Valentus is not $20. You must purchase products to become an active and qualified independent representative for commissions.
You should pay attention to the monthly Active and Qualified Expenses.
Valentus is a Pay and Play business opportunity. If you want to earn, you have to pay.
Any independent representative that fails to maintain an active and qualified status is not allowed to receive the bonuses and commissions from Valentus.
The expenses above do not include your time, the marketing costs, travel expenses, and gas.
The active and qualified expenses can destroy your business profit if you cannot resell the products. They become business losses.
Other home-based businesses, such as Affiliate Marketing, you earn the commission on every sale, no need to be active and qualified.
Why Valentus has this active and qualified requirement?

Valentus Compensation Plan
The Valentus compensation plan is an outline of all the options for you to make money with Valentus.
I’ll provide a quick analysis of the Valentus compensation plan. To see it in detail, just download a copy.
As an mlm opportunity, Valentus provides you two options to earn: selling products and/or building a team.
Make Money Selling Valentus Coffee
Valentus independent representatives can either purchase products at a discount price to resell, or they can direct customers to purchase from their own Valentus replicated website to earn a retail commission.
You earn a 25% retail commission for sales.
But the question is, can you sell Valentus products on the market?
A container of Valentus Slimroast Optimum with 30 serving retail for $70.00.
I will never pay $70 for this small container of coffee.
It will be a challenge to sell Valentus coffees on the market.
Overpriced is the reason many independent representatives cannot make money selling Valentus products.
Make Money Recruiting
The only option to make money and sell products is by recruiting others to join your team.
As long as you are active and qualified, here are your options to earn.
Fast Start Bonus
Valentus pays between $20 to $200 fast start bonus when an enrollee purchases a starter pack.
But you must be a qualified independent representative to receive this bonus.
Below is the bonus schedule.
Legacy Bonus
A $100 legacy bonus is paid when your first three personal enrollees purchase a Business Builder Pack or a Career Success Pack. Starting with the fourth enrollee, Valentus will pay $200 legacy bonus.
However, to receive this bonus, you must meet the following requirements:
- Achieve the rank of Ruby which requires purchasing $575.95 of Valentus products, and
- Maintain a monthly order of $145.95
Team Commission
Team commission is determined based on the Binary System.
Binary means you have to build two teams, one on the left and one on the right, to start earning team commissions.
Binary is considered the hardest compensation plan in the mlm industry because you must build two successful teams to earn.
Valentus pays a $20 team commission when both teams, each generates 50 BV (about $59.95) of team sales volume.
If only your right leg team generates $1,000 in sales volume, you do not qualify for a team commission, because both teams must achieve the $59.95.
As you can see, there are multiple ways to earn with Valentus. But to get paid, you must purchase products to meet the active and qualified requirements.
This is how mlm works. Ways to earn is not the same as qualifying to receive the money.
You can potentially earn nothing with Valentus because the costs to be active and qualified might exceed the commissions received.
Can You Make Money With Valentus?
The Valentus compensation plan only provides us the options to earn. It doesn’t tell us the independent representatives’ take-home income.
To know the actual income, you need to look at the Valentus income disclosure statement (IDS). This financial document provides ACTUAL INCOMES
that independent representative received from Valentus.
But, where can you get a copy of the IDS?
You can request one at the time of enrollment. The law requires Valentus to provide you a copy together with the compensation plan.
As a business review writer, I look to the actual incomes to advise clients on an investment.
If Valentus refuses to provide you a copy of the income disclosure statement, don’t join. This is a sign of a scam.
But you don’t need a copy of the IDS to know that 99% of mlm businesses failed.

Because mlm compensation plans are not designed for you to make money. They are designed for the mlm company to sell products.
